Razbor is a regional and local development consultancy which provides services to public institutions, non-governmental organisations and private companies in preparation and implementation of development programmes and projects. Our experience stems predominantly from working with EU and other donor funded projects in Croatia.

We believe that projects of high quality can only arise from in-depth analyses of needs and strengths of the institution in questions, but also of good knowledge of the opportunities in economic trends, sectoral policies and funding mechanisms. We support our clients in successful usage of EU and other donor funding with care for the specific needs and goals of their organisation and target groups that they work with. Our work with our clients runs through all the phases in programme and project cycle: from needs analysis and setting the strategic objectives, to project identification and formulation, through fundraising, project implementation, and, finally project evaluation and recommendations for further planning.

Razbor was established in 2005 in Zagreb. A group of experts who have, up until then, been working with international consultancies on regional development and EU Pre-accession funds gathered to establish their own local company. Our idea was to create a team which will be familiar with local circumstances in Croatia and the surrounding region and be able to respond to specific needs of our clients. We were all highly motivated to develop a recognisable local intellectual services provider and thus improve the consultancy services market in the area of EU funding in Croatia. We consider ourselves successful in achieving our initial objectives. Furthermore, we believe that, through our company and the standards we set for ourselves, we can contribute to overall quality of development projects in Croatia and the region and thus add to the social and economic development of our living environment.
